If you have AppleCare+, you pay only one incident fee to replace a single AirPod or both AirPods, with or without a Charging Case. If additional damage is found, you could pay an additional fee. We'll inspect your product when we receive it. If you go to another service provider, they can set their own fees, so ask them for an estimate. Use our “Get an Estimate” tool to review potential costs if you get service directly from Apple. You can replace a single AirPod (left or right AirPod) or a Charging Case for a fee. AppleCare+ covers both the AirPods and the Charging Case. Your product is eligible for a battery replacement at no additional cost if you have AppleCare+ for Headphones and your product's battery holds less than 80% of its original capacity.

Our warranty doesn’t cover batteries that wear down from normal use. We can replace your AirPods battery for a service fee.
